On Loneliness and Anxiety

This series sits with two feelings I keep returning to: loneliness and anxiety. I wanted to give them a body and a landscape rather than a caption — a girl bowed under a full moon, her hair falling over her face, thin leafless trees standing around her like company that cannot quite reach her.

I kept the palette narrow — greys, greens, a chalky moon — so the mood would carry the image. The bare trees echo the figure: exposed, and waiting for something to return.
